At Forever Artisans, we feature real life stories to inspire your custom design. This is the true story of how Dan replicated a family heirloom.
WHAT INSPIRED THE DESIGN?
This story begins in 1981 when I purchased an engagement ring for my first wife with baguette diamonds at a small estate jewelry shop in Chicago. The ring was my wife's favorite piece of jewelry and she wore it with pleasure. She died of cancer after the birth of our two sons. I have since re-married. Recently both of my sons have become engaged to be married. I still had my first wife's ring but only one ring and two sons! Forever Artisans came to my rescue. Forever Artisans was able to create three beautiful replicas of the ring in white gold and laboratory diamonds. The rings are stunningly beautiful and capture exactly the original design. I gave one ring to each of my son's fiances and one replica to my current wife. All three were thrilled with the beauty of the ring. Amazingly each replica was fabricated for one-half the cost of what I paid for the original ring in 1981.
The workmanship is superb and the rings are extraordinary in their faithfulness to the original.
