The key to keeping your jewelry shining bright? Cleaning it regularly. Cleaning your jewelry removes the build up of natural skin oils, hand lotions, hair products, makeup—anything that you touch is also on your ring or jewelry. To keep your piece sparkling, clean it regularly—at least once a month or so. It’s easy and you probably have everything you need in your cupboards already.

Soap & Water

What you need: A small bowl, warm water and gentle dish soap.

Combine the soap and warm water. Soak your piece for 20-45 minutes. Use a clean soft toothbrush to gently scrub all over. Plug your drain! Rinse your piece in clean warm water and pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Jewelry Cleaner

What you need: Forever Companies jewelry cleaner or another brand of non-abrasive cleaner.

Spray your ring thoroughly with the solution or let it soak in a small bowl if it is very dirty. Use a clean soft toothbrush to gently scrub all the nooks and crannies. Plug the drain in the sink and rinse under warm running water.

Things to Avoid

Do not use: Abrasive cleaners like bleach and household cleaners, which can damage the metal; toothpaste, which can scratch the metal; hard bristle brushes - stick to a very soft bristle brush.

Using one of these methods will keep your ring bright and shiny for years to come!
